Oregon State University Uses NASA Centrifuge to Simulate Tsunami

A centrifuge that was used to spin astronauts around and test gravitational force on them, is now being used to simulate the effects of a large tsunami on the Oregon coast. The centrifuge is helping Oregon State University ARCS Scholar, Maggie Exton, to better understand the risks of a tsunami. KGW News featured the story.
