Our second 2025 recipient of the President’s Award has been a member of ARCS Oregon since 2010. She has served in many roles related to communications. This member is not one to call attention to herself, but she willingly volunteers for what needs to be done. She has managed multiple transitions during her tenure as Chair of Communications, and has explored a variety of communication strategies to enhance our interactions with members, scholars and the public. Her gentle manner and unfailingly gracious behavior impress all who have the pleasure of working with her. This member is always willing to invest her time, treasure, and talent to further the success of ARCS Foundation Oregon. In fact, she and her husband, Mike, have generously funded 3 UMEs (one at each of our partner institutions!). I am speaking, of course, of the remarkable Jamie Anderson!
