Jamie Brown joined ARCS Oregon in 2018 and has served as an unofficial embedded development officer for ARCS Foundation Oregon since that time. She provided the search committees with wise counsel during each of three Executive Director searches. She leveraged her connections and expertise to provide ARCS Oregon with venues, speakers, and refreshments for many events through the years. In 2021 she accepted the role of Co-Chair of the Program Committee. She and Rachel Dresbeck shared the role for 2 years together, and when Rachel became the President-Elect in 2023, Jamie continued to Chair the Committee for an additional 2 years on her own. In 2025 she became an At-Large Member of the ARCS Foundation Oregon Board. Throughout the years she has masterfully balanced her full-time position with the OHSU Foundation and her work for ARCS Foundation Oregon and has done us both proud. As an exemplary member of ARCS Oregon, Jamie is richly deserving of this special award.
