As of the 2025 Annual DAF Report, there are approximately 3.59 million donor-advised fund (DAF) accounts in the United States, based on fiscal year 2024 data.
Donors use donor-advised funds (DAFs) to support causes they value while taking advantage of tax benefits. More than $327.87 billion is currently set aside for charitable purposes in DAFs, with almost $65 billion in grants distributed to charities in fiscal year 2024.
