What happens to memory as age or illness affects the brain?

Over six million people in the United States have Alzheimer's disease and other memory disorders. These are some the most common neurodegenerative disease diagnoses and Dr. Alison Weiss's research at OHSU's Oregon National Primate Research Center is focused on these changes in the brain.
